What sets us apart?

Soon after we were established in 1969, Knighthood became involved with the marine industry following a request from a client to arrange cover for his passenger vessel operating on the River Thames. We started to learn as much as we could, developing a detailed understanding of the passenger boat industry and the associated insurance requirements. We quickly gained a reputation as experts within the marine insurance industry, further demonstrated by our appointment as the broker of record to the Thames Passenger Services Federation.

As our portfolio of clients expanded, so has our offering. Having built upon our experience within the passenger boat industry, we have since developed a substantial portfolio of workboat clients, including tugs, workboats and cargo vessels. We also offer competitive insurance across non-marine trades and professions.
